The Sakura Lagoa is a “light jig – slow jigging” reel designed for sea fishing which has been very fashionable for several years in European waters. Machined in one-piece aluminium, its compact design combined with proven mechanics make it an ideal reel to equip madai or tenya type casting rods. Its fast ratio is perfect because, in jigging, we often practice at great depths and a casting reel with a ratio that is too slow (< 7.1:1) would quickly be very unpleasant to use during animations and retrievals of the lure. You will notice its powerful brake, capable of stopping any marine predator that tries to take refuge in its lair.
