Daiwa has employed Tough PE fibers and added EVO Silicone 2 process to Saltiga 8Braid to make the line abrasion resistant. Tough PE fibers are thicker than those of previous lines. EVO Silicone process adds more slippery coatings on line surface for longer casting distance and to improve abrasion resistance.

Line is colored in different by every 10m, and it is marked at every 1 meter.

The Hinata Kab is a special sliding kabura for bait that perfectly imitates a small octopus. It will be extremely effective when combined with bait (worms, strips or legs of cephalopods, shrimp or prawn bodies, etc.). A sliding ring placed on this braid holds the skirt of the kabura. This is made up of silicone strands that create a volume effect in the water and emit fine attractive vibrations. It also has two pairs of ultra-flexible straight strips representing the tentacles of the octopus. This sliding system offers the advantage of not providing support points for the fish allowing it to unhook itself during the fight.

The FLAVIE is a very versatile Sinking Pencil that has proven itself on all large marine predators. It makes the difference when conditions are difficult and fish are focused on small prey. During pauses, the FLAVIE undulates on the descent and can be twitched to trigger attacks by creating an erratic swimming action simulating a wounded fish. The Drag Metal Cast Shot is a casting jig that is distinguished by its flat sides and its tail paddle treble hook. This paddle completes the significant flashes of light, emitted during the lowering of the lure from side to side, by providing additional vibration. It is a versatile lure, which can be animated by a succession of blows of the tip interspersed with pauses, in traction by letting it come down again with a semi-stretched banner to make it hover, but also in simple linear recovery. It is very easy to use, from the edge as in a boat, at sea or in fresh water, and can be launched from a great distance.
