The J-Braid Grand x8 braid pushes the strengths of the J-Braid x8 even further. Made in Japan, this braid uses fibers called Izanas conferring the highest grade of resistance: it is 4 times more resistant to abrasion! On this version, the braid winding process further tightens its strands. Thus, the J-Braid Grand x8 has a perfectly round shape optimizing its aerodynamics and hydrodynamics. Thus, casting distances are improved and the better hold of the braid in fishing action ensures increased sensitivity and responsiveness. 

Diamond Generation 3 Hollow Core Braid is the next High Performance Fishing Braided Line. Built as a 16 Carrier Dynema Braid for quick and easy splicing, Diamond Generation 3 Braid is a mate’s dream line. Daiwa UVF Saltiga Dura Sensor 8Braid +Si2 line offers superb abrasion resistant, 300% compared to Daiwa ordinary braids, while keeping the advantages of finely braided line performance.

Daiwa has employed Tough PE fibers and added EVO Silicone 2 process to Saltiga 8Braid to make the line abrasion resistant. Tough PE fibers are thicker than those of previous lines. EVO Silicone process adds more slippery coatings on line surface for longer casting distance and to improve abrasion resistance.

This braid made of Dyneema does not deteriorate with ultraviolet as Aramid. Because perfectly round, you can use a needle to remove the central core and make your loop termination.
