The Big Tuna series has long been the benchmark for tuna rods around the world. Rods pack an immense power but retain ability to work light lures for when the tuna are feeding on small bait. We pursued a rod with oustanding breaking point.
Our mission was to create a rod able to absorb the trashing run from the blue-fin tuna wheile being able to hight stick the rod when the fight draws out overtime.
This is for those anglers with their sights on super monstrous Blue-fin tuna. It is model for anglers who need to “high-stick the rod” to load the blank or utilize the “straight pumping” fight style. The power of the rod is similar to the BT76 and BT73 but the breaking point is much greater compared to these two. With the shorter designed blank, the bending point is set closer to the body, drastically reducing the load and stress on the angler. It also has enough length and leverage to go around the bow or other obstacles on the boat for a smoother fight.

These blanks are around 6Ft, stiff like a stick and have a high elasticity for the jigging models.
