Top Gun design requires much less moving parts reducing maintenance and greatly increasing the life of the mechanism. If your boat is equipped with a slot for receiving this type of pole, you can just screw it! Establishing outriggers is operating in a rotation of a quarter turn with the handle to unlock the mechanism.
