This Saltiga rod model has been designed for this particular practice and the blank has been designed and equipped with full awareness of the requirements of this extreme fishing. To create this new serie of stand up rod AB1, unidirectionnal carbon fibers pre-impregneted with differents modulus has been used, and placed with different angles to get the maximum resistance and with the best manufacturing. This has been possible with a big research and devellopment to create and compare the blanks manufactured and check if this new process match the specifications requested ! Final production has been launched with 8 unidirectionnals carbon fiber layers. this can be realized only with a specialized craftmanship
