New Van Staal brand fixed spool reel, called Van Staal VR. This model is equipped with a machined 606 -T6 waterproof aluminum frame. Sealed brake system, control wheel and conical spiral pinion. MicroClick™ brake for even more precise adjustment. Main shaft in stainless steel with titanium nitride coating.

Spiral gears

Large, spiral-machined stainless steel gears do their job in all Van Staal reels. They are individually milled, resulting in extremely robust gearing between axle and pinion. No other transmission performs better under load.

Van Staal anti-return system

for the braid This oversized anti-return system allows powerful hooks and allows the use of large diameter braid.
