The Sakura Lagoa is a “light jig – slow jigging” reel designed for sea fishing which has been very fashionable for several years in European waters. Its fast ratio is perfect because, in jigging, we often practice at great depths and a casting reel with a ratio that is too slow (< 7.1:1) would quickly be very unpleasant to use during animations and retrievals of the lure.
